I wanted to let everyone know about
the Bauer Family Farm. They have great
fresh organic fruits and vegetables I am part
of the CSA program they run the prices are great.
But that isn’t the best part they are a wonderful
local family in our community. I would like to encourage others to try their organic fruits and vegetables and also to join the CSA program.

In about 3 weeks or so we will have an enormous amount of fresh produce all from seeds we got in Italy last year at the Terra Madre Conference. Tomatoes, peppers, melons, pumpkins, winter squash and more! I’d love to sell them directly to our neighbors! Plus, our herd of 250 Toulouse geese are mowing & munching their way through the cherry orchard.
I’d like to get the word out to everyone in our area! any ideas?

We have found just 2 few u-picks, Riverdance Farms and an apricot farm on East St., I don’t know the name of the farm and have not visited yet!

I have recently moved to Modesto from Oregon, and have been looking around for farms where you can pick your own berries and fruits like: raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, apricots, etc., but I can’t seem to find any farms that will allow you to do it yourself. I enjoy picking my fruits and berries and was wondering if you can point me in the right direction.

I started an organic farm with my dad in Willits, Ca, but have to put in on hold b/c my boyfriend will be attending the college in Merced. I would like to do an internship on an organic farm to learn more about it. I am so glad you have this up b/c it was really nice to see all the different organic farms. It looks like in previous replies that i should contact the farmer directly, but I don’t want to annoy anyone. Thanks!!
