Anna,
Thanks for the call yesterday. Finally got me here to check out what you ladies are doing and I like it. I had a look at some of the older posts and photos. Looks good.
The information you list for me is accurate except that I’m not a CCOF farmer, although I may be by this time next year. I’m a CDFA registered organic farmer (Gordon Craig is the same). We abide by the same rules, but are not third-party certified. This is a category for very small producers.
Looking forward to meeting with you although we’ll see how the weather continues.
Bill
How do you go about being listed on your website. We are an organic dairy and have eggs from hens out on pasture for sale. Please contact me at your convenience. Bye now!!
Hi Babette,
If you are local we would love to come pay a farm visit, write a post and list your dairy, just let us know where you are.
Any one else interested in a farm visit from us?
Give us a shout!
Happy farming,
KatnAnna
We are located north of Merced on Highway 59, just south of Turlock Road. Please email me privately and we can set up a time. Look forward to hearing from you, Babette
Hi - I found your great blog through the CAFF Buy Fresh Buy Local site. We are an organic farm between Escalon and Ripon. We grow cherries, berries, citrus, almonds, Bronx table grapes (a Slow Food Ark of taste winner), Paw Paws, geese (which we use for weeders in our orchards) and more! We would love to be listed on your organic farmers section and have you come to visit.
You can email or call 209-982-
THANKS SO MUCH.
Casey

I work for Kings Canyon National Park. I am currently writing a proposal to get local and organic foods into the trails food program. I am having an especially hard time finding local sources of milk, cheese, spreads, butter, margarine, sour cream, pork, chicken, and deli meats. As well as local sources of bulk dry items like flour. Any information any one can provide is very welcome.
Wow Edlyn, you have an important task ahead of you,
how lucky they are to have some one like you to research healthy
food options!
Here are a couple of websites that will have listings to help find what you need closest to you, http://www.ccof.org ( California Certified Organic Farmers) and http://www.cafarmersmarkets.com.
Let us know if they are helpful,
we will work on it more if you need!

Oh Isabella…. I had a great time with you! and your family! and all your exotic animals!!
It is fun having a website because I get to share what I learn on all my farm visits and I love taking pictures, but the best part is meeting nice people like you and your family!
Thank you for leaving a comment on our blog, you can do that anytime you want, let us know when any new animals come to your farm or just to share what’s new.
I will e-mail you soon and can help you get your own blog and your own flicker account, then you can have fun too!
Happy Farming,
KatnAnna
