Adam and Eve are a pair of Duroc swine. For those who do not know Durocs are swine known for their red colors and meat quality. Darrell has now expanded to 12 breeding stock, with Adam as the main male. These “free range” hogs are in a natural environment raised with no hormones and no antibiotics.
With acres available for a life of leisure, Darrell’s hogs roam from mud puddle to mud puddle, they run, play and eat food available when they want. Dessert provided by Adam who pulls the organic almonds off the trees for himself and his ladies!
When Darrell was asked why he choose to develop an all natural hog farm, he replied “I believe that if you make $20,000 a year or $200,000 a year you should be able to purchase good quality meat and I want to be the one to provide it. It is healthier for everyone and the taste speaks for itself once you try it.”
