“West Modesto Farmers Market” is a new market every Thursday at Mellis Park. It is not only becoming a gathering hub for this neighborhood, it is providing fresh foods, lively music, children activities and health education for families.
September 4th, “Shad Harris and the Groovenators” will play the market as it combines Kickoff to Recovery Month in Stanislaus County, featuring local art display and of course organic fruits and vegetables for sale….come join the fun!
This market has come together by Stanislaus Multi Cultural Community Health Coalition and West Modesto / King Kennedy Neighborhood Collaborative and is seeking local organic farmers to participate.
